6 months in Hyderabad

The day first when i landed myself in hyderabad, my attitude was, what a big deal?! its again a city with nothing. No city can be ever ever and ever compared to bangalore.
Bangalore is my dream city, isin'it??!
But i had a totally difference altogether... I was forced to like the city
Because-???!!!!@@@###
Yes!!! So many good news in hyderabad.
Hyderabad means we all think about one thing... Yes you are right! Its biryani.
But that is not what i am impressed off... Trust me i did not eat the most famous hyderabadi biryani till this day here.
What excites me most is the people.
In bangalore we all live a life of dolls...Well truly, I have lived a life of doll over there.
Many things you have to do for others, like dressing and talking and even sometimes walking.
Sometimes or at times it really tires you out to an extent you cant believe what is happening around you.
I am not comparing both the cities , because both the cities have their own negatives and positives which i am not going to dwell on .
Coming to the point 1- Like a excited kid with an attitude of hey i m a bangalorean for 6 years!!! whats nonsense with me...! hihi
I went to Shilpa rama!!!The place of real art work!!! Its artificial , yes but very elegant.
Beautiful..Really beautiful
The Art work around the place, the dresses i saw..totally exciting experience-- along with came a park next, so that we can sit and relax. You can get night outfits, skirts and tops little cheap here, but typical, we have to bargain otherwise there is always someone is ready to grind masala over your head.Hence beware of shopkeepers. You can take n numbers of photos to hung in your facebook wall or profile pics. Nice place to click too...
Really nice.
And went to birla temple.
Yeahhhh...the city view is spectacular!!!! entire hyderabad i could see from the top of birla temple.
And i bought some beautiful lord krishna's pictures for myself and my mum ( she was exhilarated seeing those pictures and hung those around my house in madurai.
Otherwise i was not extremely thrilled with birla temple truly. It just someone had so much money and they have made a temple with marbles... Sorry though didnt feel connected because i m a girl from a temple city definately wont feel connected towards artificial temples.
And came Lumbini park, Yeah a spacious park with lots of our muslims friends roaming here and there..Nice view of Lord buddha, Unfortunately the time i went it was telangana bundh, hence no boat ride for me.
The difference of Old city and new city is spectacular too...
New city so hi-fi has got IT companies like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, google, microsoft etc...Really good..
And old city ,places like Koti..
If you want to buy some stuff for cheap and lil best..go to koti....but bargain please....otherwise you will get cheated. From mills and boon to educational books and fruits to cheap electronic iteams...koti is the place to go...
Still didnt go golconda...:-(
Forget to mention about one more popular place is INORBIT,
The mall which is new and large and has a spectacular and exhilarating view.
I have seen foreigners taking photos over there, really splendid.
The landmark for many ITs and Corporate life suckers. But still good to place to go.
The biggest negative point in hyderabad is the telangana bundh and the unbeleivable auto prices(individual auto's)
For most places we have share auto's in hyderabad which is a comfort, but sometimes when you really had to go somewhere fast, you are thinking to take a individual auto !!!??? Think Twice!!!
Its gonna give a shock! And they shut schools and colleges for the purpose of bandh.
Most of the shops , including IT companies have big fisher nets( not internet) infront of their office, initially didnt understand what it was? asked my friend, she told it was again because of the protest happened and happening in the city! Sad!!!
I have seen colleges and schools are highly affected with the bundh!!
The national language has more power here than telugu or english.
So if you want to make hyderabad your home, please learn hindi fast( i m learning)
And i forgot to tell about my super-duper spanish educacion (in spanish)
in hyderabad which i enjoy throughly. I know i would not staying in this place for long.
But hyderabad is definately a place to remember and cherish.
And i saw some really nice and real people in hyderabad..
Who made my days special and made myself feel very special!!!! Gooooooooooooooooooood.....
my 6 months in hyderabad :-)))) with a big grin
Regards
Prathi
