Childhood reality

Recently came across a TV show in  a famous Tamil channel!Its for kids!  I m sure they copied the base line of this show from another famous english or hindi channel.

Thats how it normally works in india! We lack our own ideas. If americans create something, we will be following it with full love and force, never create something on own! 95% of our indian reality shows are straight copy from UK and US televisions! Isn't it something to be ashamed of or aren't we brainy enough to think about it for a moment?

Right, coming back to the reality television- story, how many of us really aware how many tears and struggles happening in the back stage? 2- 4 years old kids are shown in a "show"  for their speaking talent/caliber.(what ever you want to call it)

Kids are forced to portray their talents! What for? Anyone thought about it?

How much pressurizing this could be for a 3 year old in a constant situation to display her/his talent? Everybody is not innocent enough to think those kids are naturally gifted that way of speaking! How much practice would have been given by the publicity seeking parents to that poor kid!

I am not saying, all parents are like this, this could be , like showing off your kid is more brilliant than the rest! But its like chasing a worthless dream. Really! Channels have their purpose. They have to show the best TRP rating every week, day and month. They will do anything to keep the right track. But parents, where have you lost your brains????

For heaven sake, she/ he is a kid of just 3 years old , its time for them to play with toys, explore the dream world, where everything is possible, to catch the stars, to believe the impossible, to love, to care, to be sweet and to dream. They need not know the reality until they reach the age of 14!

Which is the right age to know the difference between the child world and the teenage(the society forced adult world). The big bullies judges coming and commenting on the kids +ves and -ves.

I am sure, few of you must voice against this post, telling, kids must show their talents. If not how could we develop or improve a fast tracked society! Hang on my dear parents, its not necessary.
Any kid is a good kid! Its how we raise our children that matters.

These reality shows remind me of the movie,"Taare zameen par" - its like, run run run and chase, reach the goals, achieve, all big moron words, the child wouldn't even understand the basics of these words We definitely dont have the right to force them into a world which is not theirs right now.

Leave them free, set them free, like a bird, they will grow and learn to face the difficulties, be a shoulder to lie on ,at that time,  be a friend starting from the age 12 and so on! Dont force them into something which they are not! I m begging you, on behalf of my dear younger generation!

Do not put them in front of camera at this young, sweet age! They will learn only posh and not so real world. A world which  is full of fakes and no reality! Though they call it reality shows! Instead, they can name it TRP shows, which would suit them the best!

Have any parents for a moment thought why schools dont have camera competitions??? Its basically speech, writing, drawing etc... And most of the kids dont lose their self-esteem because of those competitions i had mentioned. Its a normal course of showing your talent in a school forum where everything is equalized!

Not in a television show, where 3 kids are seated in a row and a fool asking questions to a kid for that , the kid must answer something funny! Parents must be going through hell at home, for practicing their kids at home!

In a music show, they say- the swaram had not come out well- the judge must surely know, after so many years of practice the raga's, the swaram's will come out well! The 10 year old participating in the competition is a learner, who is just learning to learn the basics! Well, he will come out well, given enough time and practice.

Along with a bulk of homework, ground work and these competitions???? Parents, Please think about your own sweet childhood? Will do you yourself the same what you have done for your child? your precious one!

You are not tracking them in the right path, on the contrary, you are forcing them to be a talented model at a very young age and not letting them seeing the nature of life in a natural way!

though i m not a married girl, i wouldn't allow in future my kid to be treated this way or let others bully my kid at the tender age even to make  my kid successful!

For me , making my child happy  is very important than making my child talented!

Do not torture the beautiful younger, cuter  and smarter generation of our country. They are talented without the Trashy TRP shows!
