Oh My cooking and my chicken gravy!!!!!

I started cooking when I was pursuing my MBA. Not with passion, probably with necessity due to lack of good hotels near my college and had a worst food providing hostel.
Donno what to do, as my monthly allowances from my parents were limited, I had to manage (but due to my extra luxuries like  Internet, House rent, Water bill and accessories necessary for a woman) I was forced to cut off my luxury good eating habits…
So…What next?!!!!
Cooking ?????????????????????????
Oh my god!!!
Yes, I did not have any other go! Hence started experiencing with my culinary skills.
Hmm, I should say I wasn’t a bad starter.
Started with RASAM and Potato fry (the easiest and most beautifully tasting yum food on earth)
U have got to believe me on this…. 90% days of MBA days I used to cook the same.
Well, The effect was worse…yes(Mostly because I don’t know how to cook anything else) Its like people eating maggi )
1) Its easy to make
2) Its spicy due to the masala’s we add
But we forget the negative impact maggi will have on us
The main troublesome factor, Its made up of Maidha(Oh god)
And it takes hardcore effort from our end to remove maidha from our body(heard from a health freak , usually it takes around 3 days to remove the stressful maidha.
Maggi lovers (Beware) Its dangerous
And coming back to my worst food habits, I didn’t not spend much in healthy food having rasam and potato fry was takings its own sweet toll..  Oops effect
It had on me-- > Result ;) Face full of pimples… Tantadainnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggg.

Then I had to rush to a skin doc (who I personally believe god in human form) removed all my scars due to the acne and pimples and gave me a new avatar altogether.
You must be wondering, why she is writing so much about her personal pimples..
Its because I believe people should really start having healthy food. That’s the motto.
Hence, during my First job @ deutsche bank…Its all healthy wealthy (Miew )
So healthy dal, with Ladies finger, Beetroot, carrot were all part (to sum extent) of my good eating habits.
Every good thing ,happens to taste or feel bad, in the initial stage.
I m not sure about other stuff, but it definitely applies to Cooking.
If the food is rich in proteins, vitamins and etc…To some extent , it tastes really bad (especially if u r a starter or a bad cook)
So as a good and healthy eater , pimples never attacked me so far.
And again how can I miss about my beautiful chicken gravy!!!!! Yum yum yum
Don’t worry I will give you the recipe 

Its my mum’s chilly powder I guess, It really does the magic.
Because most of my friends I have invited over lunch went gaga over my chicks grav …awww.. . Especially my friend teju she loves my rasam and potato fry.
Recipe as follows:-
Buy ¼ kg of chicken
Wash it at least 4 times please (oh how I hate this part)
And of course ginger , garlic paste is important.
It’s my mum’s chilly power which is a mix of
Chilly power, coriander power, curry leaves power and something else (which I later edit in the same post, and let you know guys)
So far, you can add this three..
First heat up iron vessel (preferably, cos its gives the real taste, than the other utensils’ we use.
Add up oil,
Add onions(big or small –ur choice, ) and fry it for one minute, add up tomato and again fry it until you feel its smashed or kinda cooked(not complete frying or cooking is needed)
And then add ginger , garlic paste.
Add washed chicken, and chilly power together
Add turmeric powder (it has so many medical effects which I will write it in one more post)
Mix it well, don’t add water for sometime, let the masala blend well…ummm….
And after I should say about 2 mins later add lil water(Pls don’t add too much water)
Keep a plate above the vessel, Remove the place and kinda mix it every now and then…
So you will know when its cooked.
Alright around 10-15 mins later.
M sure the chicken will be cooked by now.. (add few drops of lemon juice and lots of coriander leaves)
People wonder should you really need coriander leaves… Yes we do need to make the chicken smell go away.
My hot, spicy chicken gravy is ready to be served.
With rice it tastes heaven(Slice some cucumber and carrot if you have)
And when you have non-veg food, try to eat curd, so it reduces the heat the meat induces in your body.
God now I m giving tips… Beautiful.
So now I have given you one wonderful, nice my sweet amma’s recipie
Try it out if you are a non-vegetarian.
Will come out with some else for veggies later.
So this is the history of my learning cooking and how I struggled to achieve so many, so finally I could make on of the best chicken gravy’s on earth) Miew..
Enjoy
I m happy, when I m making others happy,
Always with so much love..
Prathi… (everywhere) 
